Position: Graphic-User Experience-Web Designer?

We are looking for a passionate professional who will bring together visual design and information architecture as a single discipline to create simple, clean, intuitive, and inspired interfaces.?In this role you will have the opportunity to drive a comprehensive re-design and renewal of the consumer experience on the?www.PayScale.com?website.

The Work
? Design new ways to visualize and represent complex datasets
? Create broad visual design and style, including fonts, colors and iconography
? Define information architecture, interaction, user experience, and features
? Build pixel perfect designs, including graphic assets from wireframes and specs
? Collect requirements from multiple stakeholders and balance competing interests
? Partner with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment
? Develop corporate identity elements, logos, and infographics

Qualifications
? Intuitive understanding of usability
? Artistic talent and skill using graphic applications like Photoshop
? Excellent analytical skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
? Strong point of view paired with a practical nature and common sense
? Experience in front-end web design, preferably on sites used by millions
? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in art, design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
? Ability to create CSS, develop basic HTML, prototype interactive elements in Javascript/AJAX/Flash a strong plus
? Extensive online portfolio demonstrating past work experience
