Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has received an order valued at more than $8 million to provide the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia with a public safety communications system to support emergency medical services (EMS) across the western region of the country. Harris will deliver a Harris P25 system, as well as mobile and portable radios. This system is based on the APCO P25 communication standard and will provide EMS personnel with secure, reliable voice and data communications.

The P5500 portable radio delivers sophisticated features in a lightweight, compact, resilient package.
