Sleek & lightweight for discretion & convenience

Two new products from Motorola Solutions meet the customer brief for a

lightweight product with a sleek and stylish appearance, combined

with rugged performance.

?

MOTOTRBO SL Series digital radio

To develop the MOTOTRBO SL Series, Bruce Claxton, Motorola Solutions senior director of design innovation, travelled the globe to listen to customers. The response was demand for a product that had style, refinement and a premium look. Most importantly, it had to be smaller than anything Motorola Solutions had ever done before.

The result is the incredibly thin and light ? it weighs as little as your average smartphone ? MOTOTRBO SL 7550 portable radio, the ultimate in discreet communications. Versatile and powerful, this device is designed to meet communication needs in the hospitality, services, security and airport industries.

With advanced features such as Intelligent Audio, integrated Bluetooth and covert mode, end-users can provide superior customer service and faster response times, discreetly and professionally.

Russell Penton, security and health and safety officer at Claridge?s Hotel in London, agrees: ?The radio needs to be small so that it?s not obvious to any of our guests that I?m wearing a radio, and also because we do such long shifts. We do 12 hours plus on our shifts. The more comfortable and lightweight the radio is, it?s of benefit to us as an end-user, definitely ? The new radios themselves are quite a leap forward. It?s the biggest step forward that I?ve seen in my years as a radio user.?

Ruby Mountain, receptionist at Claridge?s Hotel, concludes: ?The MOTOTRBO SL Series is fantastic. It?s really lightweight, it?s very easy to use. A lot of the times when we communicate with the luggage porters ? the guests are actually standing in front of us, so it?s difficult to do in a subtle way. But the SL Series really helps with that because it?s very small and it?s very convenient.?

CLP analogue portable radio

CLP, the latest business class two-way radio is here! The CLP solves those common user complaints of two-way radios getting in the way, being too uncomfortable to carry all day long, or that users have no place to attach them.

Designed specifically for retail, hospitality, and restaurant environments, the CLP is small and lightweight. Minimal training is required with a simple one-button, push-to-talk operation. Clear, strong audio makes communicating easy even in the noisiest restaurant. The design is sleek and contemporary, yet durable, and the long battery life will stand up to the everyday wear and tear of any fast-paced business.

Flexible carry options include a belt or lanyard to match the workplace environment. A unique magnetic clothing mount even enables attachment, such as on a lapel, apron, shirt or uniform, for those whose business attire precludes a belt.
