Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan has scheduled a Wednesday Rally at America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs.
The Wisconsin congressman has been traveling the country in recent days to drum home to polish the fiscal credentials of the GOP ticket headed by his running mate Mitt Romney. Best known for his penny-pinching budget proposals, Ryan has focused talks on ways to reduce the federal deficit.
He comes closely on the heels of a Colorado sweep by Romney, who visited Denver Sunday and was set to hit Pueblo Monday morning.
Ryan's Wednesday rally is set to start at 6 p.m. Wednesday with guests starting to roll in at 4 p.m. For information, visit mittromney.com.
With no clear Colorado front-runner, the Obama and Romney campaigns have worked to woo voters here in recent weeks. The candidates are expected to frequent visitors in the seven weeks before the election.
