CLAVERACK ? Taconic Hills downed Hudson 10-2 in Patroon Conference varsity golf at Columbia Golf & Country Club in Claverack on Thursday.

?We improved from our last match, but we still have a way to go,? said Hudson coach Andy Millar. ?We need to focus more and play better golf.?

Taconic Hills (2-0) hosts Catskill at Copake Country Club while Hudson (0-2) hosts Greenville at Columbia Golf & Country Club on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.

Riders? Andrew Plourde shot a sectional score of 42, Scott Vandenburgh had a 46, Max Freeman had a 47 and Alec Reeves added a 48.

?We shot a lot better today than yesterday,? said ICC coach Dan Funk. ?Each day we are improving and that is our goal right now.?

Voorheesville?s David Malfetano shot a 41, Dennis Zianamdanis had a 42, Kristain Singh hit a 43 and Grace Zianamdanis added a 44.

ICC (0-2) hosts Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Tuesday at Winding Brook at 4 p.m.

TANNERSVILLE ? Hunter-Tannersville?s varsity golf team beat Gilboa-Conesville 174-205 in Delaware League golf at the par-35 Colonial Country Club in Tannersville Thursday.

Dylan Legg shot an impressive 39 to lead the Wildcats.

?His (Legg?s) average over par right now is 3-over for the season,? HTC coach Nate Jones said. ?So he?s shooting pretty well.?

Sarah Murin shot a 47, Chase Plattner had a 46 and Jonny Knoetgen added a 42 for HTC.

?We played really well today ... three of the four golfers at least had one birdie and eighth-grader Chase Plattner had two birdies,? Jones said.

G-C?s Mychal Grant shot a 45, Hunter Perry had a 51, Nick Bogogiatzis had a 54 and Cole Fancher shot a 55.

HTC (5-2, 4-2 Delaware) plays Stamford at Stamford Golf Club on Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was moved.

WINDHAM ? Windham-Ashland-Jewett clipped Margaretville 157-177 in Delaware League varsity golf Thursday at the par-34 Christman?s Windham House, according to an email from WAJ coach Janice Hitchcock.

Warriors? Skylar Schoonmaker shot a team-low 36, Dan Marino had a 39, Ed Moran shot a 41 and Lawrence Lamanac added a 41.

Margaretville was led by Mitch Hall with a 40 while Kyle Short had a 42, Eric Matteegen shot a 45 and Dylan Schaffer added a 50.

Windham (7-0, 5-0 Delaware) hosts Jefferson on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Christman?s.
